Writing For Us

writing for usWRITE FOR US!

Want to write for our blog?

We want to build relationships with today’s best writers and teachers, who can give us great content and want to share their ideas and philosophies with yoga lovers in Nicaragua.

We are interested in fostering mutually beneficial relationships. We will promote you on our site, and hope you will reciprocate by promoting Nicaragua as a yoga destination on yours.

Writing for gives you the opportunity to promote your expertise and insights with our passionate and growing yoga community.

Even though we are pretty small, we are the largest online yoga resource in Nicaragua. Nicaragua is a still almost undiscovered destination for yoga training and practice and we will be happy to help you come to our beautiful country to explore future options for teaching and training.

Writers featured in our blog and in our newsletter will also be offered an opportunity to place a banner in the same blog promoting an event or a product of their own. All writers will receive full credit at the top of their article, along with biographical information and links to the writer’s website(s) and/or Facebook and Twitter pages.

Writers are encouraged to promote their articles through their email, websites, newsletters and social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

We are happy to publish submissions that have been published elsewhere online or in other publications. And we will always indicate an article’s original publication site.

We are also very happy to publish new articles that haven’t been published before!

Feel free to submit articles of all lengths as we do not have a minimum or maximum word count; however we do prefer articles in the range of 500-900 words as they tend to be more popular among our readers.

Please note that we don’t post articles directly promoting products or services and will not include promotional links with the article content.

We would like to publish articles by experts in (any/several) of the following areas:

  • yoga philosophy

  • ashtanga vinyasa yoga

  • ayurveda

  • food and nutrition

  • yoga teacher trainings

  • yoga retreats abroad

  • residential yoga teacher trainings

These are the requirements:

  • 500 – 900 words; longer posts can be broken down into several parts.

  • The article does NOT have to be original, but needs to have an ORIGINAL TITLE

  • Include an image that is royalty free or copyright free.

  • Only 1 (one) outgoing link from the article.

  • The author will provide us with a photo and a bio.

  • Maximum 2 links in the author´s bio.

  • Each post should  interact with the reader, asking for comments or calling to action.

  • After publication the author will share the post with his/her followers and readers.
